Codi Fitzgerald posted a condolence
To My family
How sorry I am for Our loss.
Uncle Pat will be missed from afar and wide... futher,... passed the Prairies of Alberta.
I send my thoughts and prayers to be with you, ...especially in this difficult time.
I have great memories of my Uncle Pat.
I, and many others, I'm sure...
shall always remember Uncle Pat, as a Man with great...
"ACHIEVEMENT" ~
To have lived well,
laughed oftened and loved much;
to have gained the respect
of intelligent men
and the love of children;
to have filled a niche
and accompliced a task;
to have left the world better-
whether by an impoved poppy
a perfect poem or a rescued soul;
to have appreciated earth's beauty
and not failed to express it;
to have looked for the best in others,
and to have given the best of thy self.
God Bless to all of you. And God Bless Patrick Fitzgerald.
Sincerely
~Codi Fitzgerald and family of Alberta

I was saddened to hear of Patty passing so soon in life. I have not seen much of Patty in the last 30 years. In the 15 years prior to this though this great guy made a real impression on me. I will always remember him as a stand up guy that would have your back anywhere with a smile.

Josh, Hogan, Bob, Deno & family:
I am still in shock over the news of Pat's passing. "Uncle Pat" was a man so full of life and vitality, it's difficult to imagine him gone. The Rideau lost one of its best this weekend, far too soon. This holiday season will be a tough one, but if any family can get through it, it's the Fitzgeralds. Lean on each other.
Take care,
brian.

It is so hard to think of the right things to say at a time like this. Pat has been one of my best friends my whole life and I have had many hours this week of just staring out the window and thinking of the many good times we have had over our lifetime. As you all know, life must carry on but always remember what a great person Pat was and he will live on in our memories forever.
Deno, I will get in touch with you again shortly.
