Stanley, Cora (nee Ferguson) October 2, 1919 ~ January 2, 2012 Peacefully at the Perth Community Care Centre with her daughter holding her hand on Monday, January 2nd, 2012. Cora passed away after 92 years of remarkable living and loving, to join Fred in heaven who predeceased her January 24th, 2010. Cora was the beloved mother of Lawrence (Sandy) of Stoney Creek and Sharon (Kevin) of Perth. Cora was the cherished grandmother of Joshua (Molly), Nicholas (Michelle) and Brandon Mahon. Cora is fondly remembered by her step brother George Wood and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. immediately followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will then take place in Maple Vale Cemetery, Smiths Falls. In remembrance, contributions to a memorial fund of choice would be appreciated.
