I am go sorry to hear about Noreen's death. I am Esther (Shields) Antoni's daughter and remember so many great times at the Shields' reunions as a child and many conversations with Noreen. Sadly, I believe with Noreen's passing, the only of the first cousins alive is Dorothy (Shields) McCullough. Please convey condolences to all Noreen's family. Denise

I am Roberta Gloag's (Jones), son, and Noreen was my mother's sister. I cherish the memory of my aunt Noreen, especially thinking how special our family visits to Montreal and Smith Falls were. Coming out to visit from Vancouver was such an adventure in those days of prop airplanes and many stops. My mom loved to sit with Noreen and catch up on all the family news and being the only 2 girls in a family of 5, I am sure they relished this time together. They had to be smart to keep track of all the extended family activities. Sad that Noreen went so quickly, leaving conversations unfinished. Thankful that Noreen did not suffer at the end and passed gently. Our thoughts and prayers to Elizabeth, Elaine and families. Love John and Sue Gloag

Dear Elizabeth, Elaine and Family,
I am Ausma and Jock Shields' daughter. Thank you Elizabeth for calling to let us know of the passing of your dear Mom. This is a sad time for all. I am glad we had the chance to visit with Noreen and Elizabeth at the Shields' family reunion, along with Aunt Dorothy, this past summer. Dear Elizabeth, Elaine and Family,
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of dear Noreen. She looked so well when we saw her in August at the family reunion, hence it was a shock to hear the sad, sad news. It was always a pleasure to visit with Noreen at the Shields' family reunions. We certainly admired Noreen's sense of humour and will miss her dearly. Our parents Jock and Ausma Shields also enjoyed the times when they were able to visit with Noreen.

Dear Elaine, Elizabeth and families, I cannot express how sorry we all were to hear from Ainsley of your mother's passing. She was such a lovely lady. She always remembered us on special occasions. I especially remember her Christmas baking! And of course the beautiful blanket she made for Jayden. Caitlyn will treasure it. As our families have been tied together for almost 20 years, there are so many good memories to reflect upon. You are family to us and we share your sorrow. I was so saddened to learn of the sudden passing of your beautiful mother. Dear Elizabeth, Elaine and Family, I was so saddened to learn of the sudden passing of your beautiful mother. I, together with my sister, Denise, enjoyed wonderful summer get-togethers, throughout our childhood and beyond, with both of you and your parents, Noreen and Bill, along with a huge extended family. Dear Elaine, Elizabeth and families, I cannot express how sorry we all were to hear from Ainsley of your mother's passing. She was such a lovely lady. She always remembered us on special occasions.
