Margot was a part of our family's celebrations for many years, beginning with her time at Queen's Library when she and my mother became close friends. My sister Lucinda and I have enjoyed Margot's company and hospitality over the years, been there when her children visited, and she continued to have visits following my marriage, getting to know Sarah and being part of my childrens' childhood. We were very touched that she was able to come to my mother's calling this June and it says much about her caring, strong character that she did so. I will always remember her winning smile, her wit and intelligence and her consistent optimism. She was a dear part of our lives and we will miss her.
