As I was growing up, my brother Garry and I would often go to visit Dorothy and her sister, Joan, sometimes staying for a week or more with their young families. Dorothy was always cheery, upbeat, and a positive influence. She was a "Mother" to us when we needed it, and I will always appreciate what she did for us two young boys. My sympathies to the family for their loss.
