Deachman, Alice B. Peacefully on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 following a short illness in hospital in Perth, Alice B. (Howes) Deachman at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell Deachman. Loving mother of John (Rose Mary) and Sandy (Lorna) Deachman and Mary Anne (John) Rudy. Cherished grandmother of Lori (Roy) Chase, David, Kevin (Christiana), Kerry (Natalie), Jason Rudy (Amanda) and Trevor (Cindy); great grandmother of ten. Dear sister of Gilberta (Jim) Coombs, Ian (Ruth) Howes and the late John Howes. Alice will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Dot Howes, nieces, nephews and all her family. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Eastern Star will hold a Service of Remembrance Wednesday evening at 6:30 P.M.
