To all the Richardson family. We are sorry for your loss. Reverend Richardson was a kind and gentle man. He also married us 37 years ago:-) We enjoyed seeing and chatting with him in Church whenever we went home to visit with our own dear Dad. That we will miss.
He comforted so many. . it is his turn now. May he rest in peace. Sincere condolences,
Greg and Pauline Williams (nee Kolarik)

So many people were blessed by George's life. I am grateful that I grew up in a church that was graced with a man who understood the people of his congregation.
Many precious memories comfort his family.

Dear Eunice and Family:
Please accept our sympathy on the sad news of George's passing.
Although I only met George in 2007, I will miss him and his caring
presence with everyone he came in contact with.
George will always be remembered by our family as an incredibly
giving, sweet, and warm human being.
I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside George in the Terrific Kids
program, and I enjoyed having many lunches and suppers with you and
George at Kiwanis based functions.
Our Thoughts and Prayers Go with You!

My deepest condolences go to you Mrs. Richardson, Ruth and your entire family. What wonderful memories I have of your dear Dad Ruth as he lead us through our Sunday morning Bible classes and our active Sunday evening youth group gatherings. He encouraged us all to participate in his church services like the Christmas candle light services as well as in the Easter parades, all of which are very fond memories. He was a wonderful man,..he didn't even mind you sitting in church on the floor Ruth cross-legged during his sermons while in bare feet,...I always thought he was so cool.
My blessings and prayers to you all in your time of mourning,..

I got to know and deeply appreciate George Richardson during the years he served our church as a member of the Committee on Christian Faith.
George contributed wise theological insights to the work of the committee for several years. He was a profound theological thinker and he articulated his sound positions clearly.
During most of the years when he was a member of the committee, I was its chair. As chair I especially valued his contributions because they always showed his strong pastoral sense. He brought to our discussions his roll as a minister of a congregation - not for him were remote theological formulations that were of no help to his people seeking to be faithful Christians in their day-to-day life.
I also was blessed to count George as a friend. I looked forward to the meetings when we not only discussed theology, but enjoyed one anothers company.
I give thanks to God for the gift that was George Richardson.
With sincere sympathy, (Rev) Hugh A A Rose.

I knew and respected George enormously from our involvement In Renfrew Presbytery and the Faith Committee of the United Church of Canada. A fine man in every way; a straight shooter and articulate speaker.
To show my respect for him I'll be at his funeral in Perth today with my wife Mary Jane
