Munro, Willingdon "Welly" (retired after 35 years of service to the C.N.R.) Peacefully in Almonte on Saturday April 14th, 2012 at the age of 83 years. He was the cherished husband of Mildred (Stead) Munro; loved and respected father of Larry (Joanne) and Wray (Deb) Munro. Welly will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer and Julie Munro, his sister-in-law Jean Munro, the Stead family and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Pearl (Ramsbottom) and Daniel Munro and brother Keith Munro. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. The service will be held St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. officiated by The Rev. Nancy MacLeod, a reception will follow at the Timber Run Golf Club. Interment will be held in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Innisville. In remembrance, contributions to Memorial Fund of St. Paul's, Lanark/ St. John's, Balderson Anglican Churches or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
