Splane, Shirley M. Peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 Shirley May (Whiten) Splane in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Wesley Allen Splane. Loved mother of Heather (Cliff) McMullen of Marathon, Ontario, Cindy (Barry) Orme, Sherry (Rob) Derbyshire all of Smiths Falls and Tim (Cathy) Splane of Brockville. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Leann, Nikki, Rhys, Rhiannon, Nicholas, Robyn, Brittany, Lindsay and Shelby and her great-grandchilden Sarah, Billy, Cody, Rori, Taiva and Kylee. Dear sister of Joan (the late Delbert) Hart, of Smiths Falls and Gail (Claude) Jackson of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brothers Walter, Norm and Bill Whiten and sister Marjorie Esford. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls, on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 11 am until service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment, St. Bede’s Cemetery, Nolan’s Corners.
