Robinson, Edna Mae November 19, 1909 ~ April 26, 2012 At Lanark Lodge on Thursday, April 26th, 2012, Edna Mae (Gamble) Robinson in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert John (Johnny) Robinson. Loved mother of Robert A. (Wendy) Robinson; grandmother of RJ Robinson (Valery Knoop) and Ashley Robinson (Tanner Whalen). Edna will be remembered by her sister Helen Best, brother-in-law Grant Donaldson and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Edna was a life time member of the HOPE Chapter 184 - Order of the Eastern Star, life member of Royal Tay Chapter 193/Leeds Chapter 255 - Order of the Eastern Star and life member of Sakina Temple 145 - Daughters of the Nile. Edna was predeceased by her parents Robert Henry and Rebecca A. Gamble, siblings - Olive, Lloyd, Dorothy and Bernice, parents-in-law John Arthur and Mary Maud (Nolan) Robinson, sisters-in-law Myrtle McGuire, Molly Baker and Marjorie Robinson of Smiths Falls, Ontario, brother-in-law Gordon Best and Harold Cruickshank and niece Heather (Best) James. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1100 A.M. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls. In llieu of flowers contributions to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) or a memorial fund of choice would be appreciated.
