Rathwell, Violet M. Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Sunday April 29th, 2012, Violet May Rathwell (nee Echlin) in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late M.J. "Joe" Rathwell; loved mother of Sharon (Art) Sweeney and Cheryl Rathwell of Perth. Dear grandmother of Todd (Lynn) Sweeney and their children Ella and Bennett of Lefroy, Tim (Mindy) Sweeney and their children Taylor, Dustin and Mackenzie of Dutton, Troy Sweeney of Perth and Tanya (Andrew) Kirkham and their daughter Chloe of Shelburne. Violet is survived by her loving sister Joyce (Carl) Moss of Smiths Falls and sisters-in-law Margaret Weir of Perth and Luella (late Thomas) Jones of Arnprior, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by parents Russell and Pearl Echlin, brothers Elmer (Alma), George and Garfield and brothers and sisters-in-law Bessie (Les) Wilson, Ruby (Edgar) Plaunt, Rita (Gilbert) Fraser, Wilbur Rathwell and Thomas (Sheila) Rathwell. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Tuesday May 1st, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:15 A.M. The service will be held in the chapel at 10:30 A.M.
