Cooper, Gerald Emmett In hospital in Perth on Sunday April 29th, 2012 Gerald E. Cooper (retired following 28 years of service with the Perth Public Utilities) at the age of 76 years. Gerald was the cherished husband of Helene (McNamee) Cooper, loved and respected father of Carm (Carmel) Bourgoin, Ken (Dawn) and Paul (Heather) Cooper, Connie Kelford (Brian Buchanan) and Ann-Marie Cooper. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Amber Solberg, Cory Cooper, Carrie Greer, Tyler Ramsbottom, Dakota Kelford and Josh Cooper, great grandchildren Aidan and Alivialynn Greer, sister Sandra (Tom) Meldrum, brother Gary (Adele) Cooper, all his family and many friends. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Emmett John and Elva May (Fife) Cooper and his sister Shirley and her husband Elmer Burnham. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Wednesday May 2nd, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Perth, Thursday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Laidley Cemetery, Maberly. In remembrance, contributions to Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or a local fund of one’s choice would be appreciated.
