Day, James C. 'Jim' WWII Navy Veteran Volunteer Perth Fire Dept. Member Branch #244 Perth Legion Passed away suddenly in hospital in Perth on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband for 69 years of Lois M. (Tysick) Day. Loved and respected father of Linda Dowdall, Bob (Jeanette) Day, Eric (Dianne) Day and Gary (Susan) Day; cherished grandfather to his eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ted (Mary), John (Ethel) and the late Bill Day. Jim will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, all his family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, May 6th, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. A legion Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the Blair and Son Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 10:30 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
