Eastman, Donald Bryson July 18, 1930 – May 28, 2012 A Life Well-lived It is with deep sadness that Nancy (Roger) and Janet (Matt) and grandchildren Bryson and Nicole bid farewell to their wonderful Dad, Poppa and great friend Donald Bryson Eastman who left us to join his beloved wife of 52 years, Claudia (2007), on Monday May 28th , 2012. Don was predeceased by his parents Jack and Ruth Eastman, all of his siblings, Lilith, Hazel, Marjorie and Arthur and many great friends. Don was a kind- hearted, gentle soul who could always be counted on to deliver a funny story, great anecdote or joke. He often spoke with fondness of the "nonsense” he and Claudia enjoyed with the Clinton Gang and of the good times they shared with friends in Perth and Sarasota. Don was proud of his 39 years with the Ontario Hydro. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth, Thursday, May 31st, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A celebration of Don’s life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 10:30 A.M. In remembrance, contributions to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
