Our deepest sympathy in the passing of "Betty". Although she fought a good fight, she is finally at rest and with her love. We have many great memories of excursions with Betty to the Flea markets, neighborhood garage sales and the local Civitan bake sales. Betty's lemon loaves were scooped up as soon as they were put out. Sitting around the bonfires during the summer nights we heard stories of when Betty was in the forces in W.W.11, her love of her many siblings and their life down East, and Her husband and children. We've shared many laughs and memories that we will cherish for ever. Thank you for your friendship Betty.
Our thoughts are with you in this time. Loosing a parent is such a shock, no matter how expected it is. We remember Betty as a strong fiesty woman, walking out the lane to get the mail, with a stick in hand to keep the goose in line. The goose always appeared to be very respectfull!
Hi Deb/Ray/Arwan
you are in our thoughts, betty had a long happy(I think)life, makes me think of my own parents and when the time comes. The end of an era

It was a pleasure looking after Betty when I worked at Rideau Ferry Country Home and was also a surprise when I also got to look after her when I did my PSW placement at Lanark Lodge. Betty will always be remembered by all whos heart she touched and the gorgeous smile she shared with afew of us. We will miss u my little "Betty Boop".
Strange to fall upon Betty's obituary at this late date but never the less I remember Betty's patience during a long car ride many years ago, Dorchester to Ottawa, I am saddened on many fronts.
