Chappell, Maria P. "She rests forever in a land not of her birth". Born in Shrewsbury, UK on June 21, 1927, Maria passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side; Maria P. (nee Murphy) Chappell at the age of 84. Beloved wife for over 64 years of Trevor Chappell (retired Government of Canada External Affairs). Daughter of the late Dr. J. Murphy and Susan Murphy formerly of Mountain Ash, S. Wales. Loved mother of Karen Chappell. Fondly remembered through many family links including Colin and Isabel Chappell, Maureen, David and Robert Dixon, Caroline Sanchez of Ecuador and their families. Predeceased by sister Ann Grant. Remembered in a special way by Maria's extended family and friends. Private services were held. In remembrance, contributions to the Red Cross Home Support Program would be appreciated.
