Obituary of Enoch Hammond Kerr

(Hon. Life Member Gideons International. Enoch was a proud veteran of WWII serving six years in artillery) Born in Forfar August 6, 1920, passed away peacefully at the Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls, on Monday, June 4, 2012, Enoch Hammond Kerr in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret D. (Buzzell) Kerr and predeceased by his first wife Irene Dorothy Taylor in 1980. Loved father of Sharon Kerr, Kathryn (Daniel) Cooper and Susan (Larry) Thomason all of Regina. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren. Enoch will be missed by five Reynolds Children and families; Doris (John) Baker, Ethel (the late Franz) Strokan, Michael Reynolds, George (Chris) Reynolds, Mark (Elaine) Reynolds, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister Irene and an infant son. Fondly remembered by his extended family, good friends and his many life-long friends through Gideons International. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Bethel Pentecostal Church, 301 Hwy. 29 Smiths Falls, on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Maple Vale Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Gideons International - Canada would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #95 will hold a Veteran's Service of Remembrance Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m.
