Pretty, Shirley Joyce (neé Miller) September 25, 1933 ~ June 17, 2012 In Loving memory of Shirley Joyce Pretty who passed away peacefully in hospital in Perth, with family by her side on Sunday June 17th, 2012. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Merrill Pretty, loving mother of Glenna (Sandy) Stewart and Oral (Hilda) Pretty. Cherished grandmother of Glen (Jen) Stewart, Jennifer (Sam) Milligan, Nolan (Sarah) Pretty, Natalie Pretty, Kyle (Andrea) Pretty, Stephanie Pretty and Jarid Pretty, loving great-grandmother of John and Grace Stewart, Taylor and Lyla Pretty and Xavier Milligan. Shirley will also be sadly missed by her sister Audrey (Larry) Black, her sister-in-law Corinne (Russell) Pretty-Lalonde, her nieces and nephews, Tracey (Larry ) Banks, Amy (Gary) McCleverty and Craig (Sam) Pretty. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Oral and Lyla (Gray) Miller/George and Bernice (Gray) Miller, her grandchild Faith Pretty, her brother-in-law Wilmer Pretty and her father-in-law Lloyd Pretty. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Hopetown Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the North Lanark County Community Health Centre or the Trinity United Church Hopetown/Middleville would be appreciated.
