Cole, Velma Goldie (Baker) Moved peacefully into the arms of our Lord in heaven, in hospital, Smiths Falls on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in her 94th year. She was a loving Wife, Mother of 6, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She is predeceased by her husband Clarence, son Stanley Cole, parents Elsie (Moffatt) and Adam Baker, sister Laura (Baker) Gauthier, brother Carmon, brother-in-law Howard Cole and son-in-law Roy Bush. She will be sorrowfully missed by her children, Joan O'Grady (Pat), Ruth Cole (Merv), Myrna Bush (Roy), Norma Wilson (Reg), Susan Cole, her sister Muriel (Baker) Dickie, 9 loving grandchildren, 11 loving great-grandchildren, family adopted by heart, friends and neighbours. Family and friends are invited to attend a service in celebration of Velma's life at Christ Church, Burritt's Rapids on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 9 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment, Union Cemetery, Merrickville on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Church, Burritt's Rapids or the Parkinson's Society.
