Peacefully at his home in Smiths Falls on Monday July 16, 2012 John "Jack Robinson, age 84. Beloved husband of Margaret "Mardie” (Smith) Robinson. Son of the late Roy and Mary Robinson. Loved and respected father of Judy McPhee. Grandfather of Tammy (Kevin), Dan (Christie) and Christy(Jason). Great grandfather of Spencer, Seth, and McKenzie Baker and Sadie McPhee. Brother of Roy Robinson, Dorothy Miles and Shirley Hetherington. Father in law of Tom McPhee. Predeceased by sisters Hilda, Pearl, Grace, Marjorie and Florence and brothers Oscar and Ron. Jack was a mason (St. Francis Lodge) for 59 years, Past President of the Land O’ Lakes Shrine Club, member of the Shrine Jestors, and co-founder of Masonic Transportation which provided no cost transportation for Cancer patients. At Jack’s request a private family service was held with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
