McKinnon, Elmira "Elly" nee Duffy Passed away suddenly in hospital in Perth on Thursday, July 19th, 2012 Elmira Edna (Duffy) McKinnon in her 81st year. Loving mother of Keith (Diane) McKinnon of Renfrew, Heather McParland (Peter McTavish) of Perth and Cheryl McKinnon (John Dean) of Balsam Lake. Cherished grandmother of Jamie (Jennifer) McParland, Karen (Dave) Church, Kevin (Stephanie) McKinnon and great grandmother of Peyton and Keira McParland and Peyton Church. Elmira was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many friends including those at Carolina Court as well as all her family. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Monday, July 23rd, 2012 from 12 noon until 1:30 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 P.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will be held at a later date in Laidley Cemetery, Maberly. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Bob VanNoppen, the ICU staff of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, Perth, her Red Cross caregivers and to Carolina Court for the care and compassion shown to our mother.
