Obituary of Clarence Roy Kerfoot

Kerfoot, Clarence Roy September 25, 1921 - October 3, 2012 (Proud Veteran WWII, longtime member of the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club and valued part of the team at the golf course, where C. R. worked on countless projects for the club over the years as well as his daily work at "the shop") Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 03, 2012, Clarence Roy Kerfoot at the age of 91. Beloved husband and best friend for over 66 years of Leita (Cross) Kerfoot. Loved and respected father of Wayne, Richard (Judy) Dale (Mary-Jayne) and Lisa (William) Wilkinson. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kimberly Dixon (Kurt), Kathleen, Kristopher, Matthew (Andrea), Bradley (Sarka), Kristy, Cassandra, Cole, Amanda (Devon), Lindsay (Darren) and Brittany (Brody) and great-grandchildren Oakley, Oxford and Odessa Dixon and Keegan Kerfoot. Dear brother of Reta Warwick (late Joseph), late Jack (Violet), Ruth Cameron (late Jack), late Joyce Miles (Len), Stan (Norma), Bob (Jean), late Arnold (June), late Bill (Della) and brother-in-law of the late Lloyd Cross, Lila Powers (late Art), late John "Jack" (Mary), the late Glenn "Ted" (Barb), Lois Brown (Ken), Lorraine "Freda" Mayhew (Don), Marilyn (late George) Kelly and the late Larry Wayne Cross. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Minnie (Gray) Kerfoot. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, 2 George St. S., Smiths Falls on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. John's Anglican Church, or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 95, Smiths Falls would be appreciated. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 95 will hold a Veteran's Service of Remembrance on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.
