As I remember granny, I can see her and Oupa praying next to their beds in Medicine Hat, being profoundly impacted by this as a searching 18 year old. Their faith was real and growing up right until the day of Granny's promotion, I've been aware of prayers for me and my family daily. Even as Claire and Carl, grow up, it will be a privilege to share how wonderful my grandparents were, their spiritual legacy and how they impacted me growing up.
To you Shirley, I know their's a hole of grief right now and a pain that lingers, but our prayer is that you will know the comfort of Christ anew as we celebrate Granny's life. We hold you dearly in our lives too and only wish we could be their helping carry the load. Thank you for your selfless service to Granny and Oupa in these last years, I know they appreciated it, my mom certainly does and if Brain was alive, he would too.
