Dear Donovan family,
I was a friend of Chris from Smiths Falls. I was lucky enough to reunite with Chris in Ottawa and even had a chance to work with him at Bell where we shared a few laughs and a common dislike for our jobs. We kept in contact after I moved to BC and while he was in Whistler.
He was one of a kind and will be missed.

Paul, Joanne, Corry and family,
Words don't suffice... but know that you are in my heart and in my thoughts. Chris played a part in some of those childhood memories that make you smile at how simple and wonderful being 8 years old was. He was kind, and funny and he will be missed. Sending you my warmest wishes, most sincere condolences and all my love.

I am deeply saddened by this. Please accept my deepest condolences for you loss. Chris was one of those guys that could always light up the room without saying a word. I worked with him at NUVO and working the midnight shifts with him was a huge highlight of that job. He made a job I hated one that I loved when he and I work together
Chris always had a way with words and could make anyone smile with his personality, he will be sorely missed.

To the Donovan family,
I met Chris shortly after moving to Canada while working at EOS. Although I did not work with him for very long, I had the opportunity to get to know him and to share our common experiences as new Calgarians! He was a great co-worker but more than that an amazing person. I will miss him.
Sincerely,
Elodie

To the beloved family and friends of Chris:
I, too, had the pleasure of working with Chris and am so very saddened by the news. Chris was both a gentleman and a scholar, and he will be deeply missed.
Diligent in his pursuits, I remember how impressed I was when Chris offered to lend his IT expertise even after his contract with our company had expired. This was the type of person Chris was: caring, studious, dependable, and just an all around nice fellow.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know that you are in our prayers.

To Chris's Family and Friends
Please accept my sincerest condolences in the loss of Chris. While I only worked with Chris for a few months, it was a real pleasure getting to know him. Chris was a very nice, hardworking young man and I have no doubt he will be missed by many. Even though he was more on the quiet, shy side, Chris made several friends in our office. He had a nice sense of humor, describing himself to our field staff as "Tall, dark and handsome". Again, I am so sorry for your loss. You (and Chris) are in my thoughts and prayers.
