Donovan, Chris With profound sadness, the family of Christopher Paul Donovan announce his untimely and tragic death, due to a car accident near Calgary, Alberta, on Friday, April 18th, 2008. He was 32 years old. Cherished son of Catherine (Gordon) Giff and Paul (Joanne) Donovan. Much loved brother of Corry (Scott) Goddard, Dear nephew of Pat (Alex) Yanosik, Paul (Carol) Deegan, Dr. Don (Shelly) Deegan, Jim Deegan (Susan Odegard), Stan (Beth) Donovan, Maureen (Glen) Lumsden, Mark (Bev) Donovan and Bernadette (Jim) Burgess. Predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Norma Donovan and Don and Orma Deegan and Uncle Dennis Deegan. Chris will be sadly missed by his numerous cousins, extended Giff and McCulloch families and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Friday from 2 to 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church on Saturday, April 26th, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Interment, St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
