I have known Jim and his family for close to twenty years, (I think Jim would probably say something about my memory right about now). I feel very blessed to be able to claim this association and I send the whole Cooper family my love at this time.

I worked for Coop for 5 years in my first real job at Sluggers. I have great memories of working with him and getting to know Mrs. Cooper along with Tricia, Chris, and Stephen. That business was a wild ride for awhile and it was fun to be a part of it. I learned a lot as a teenager and young adult and I owe Coop for a big part of it. It was nice to be able to stay in touch over the years even after moving out west. I wish I could be there for the service. All the best to the Cooper family.
I first met Jim as owner of Sluggers. This was the beginning of a great friendship. I admired his determination; a fighter to the end.
