Our sincere sympathy to the Willis Family.
Jean touched so many hearts with her kindness and compassion towards others. I was fortunate to get to know her while living at Sunset Blvd. We were a threesome; Jean, Ora Paul and myself, they both watched over me with great care. Jean would reminisce about living in Lanark during the early years with a young Family, many stories she told me and Jim. It was nice to hear, she had a way of making the neighbourhood streets come alive with days gone by of the Deacon and Willis Families.
There are many angels among us; Jean you sure are a treasured one.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Jean was the best roommate that mom could of had, they shared many good days, and when mom had a rough day Jean was right there to help her through it. As a caregiver at the lodge, I enjoyed caring for Jean, she always appreciated everything I did for her and always ended with a hug. She was a wonderful, amazing lady that loved her family dearly. My condolences to all of Jean's family. I will never forget Jean and her beautiful smile and wave.

Hug
When Dave and I went to Lanark to stay at the cottage with our then 2 year old daughter Aunt Mary's oven broke in the middle of cooking supper. Aunt Jean stepped in and finished making supper, I remember that huge smile, warm hug and always being welcome in her home. She doted on our daughter, I can still feel that hug!
Miss all those great times in Lanark County!
