Willis, Jean The family of Jean Willis (nee Bates) announce the passing of their dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. Jean was the wife of the late Jim Willis and devoted mother of four sons: Bill (Betty) of Ottawa, Wilmer (deceased) wife (Janet) of Lyndhurst, Ben of Perth and Dave (Susan) of Sharbot Lake. She adored her ten grandchildren great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Jean was predeceased by her brother Frank Bates and his wife Merle and two sisters Anna (late Ralph) Craig and Peg Bennett. She will be remembered by her brother-in-law Peter Bennett and her nieces and nephews remember with fondness their Aunt Jean. The Willis family wishes to express extreme gratitude to all levels of Lanark Lodge. The kindnesses shown to Mom are heartfelt. You made it 'home' to her for sixteen years. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark. In remembrance of Jean, contributions may be made to Lanark Lodge or St. Paul' Anglican Church, Lanark. Jean's family was her life - cherish yours in her memory!
