Porter, Florence Irene (Hagan) Entered into rest with her family by her side in hospital, Perth, on Monday, February 23, 2009, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Porter and cherished mother of Joan Porter, Smiths Falls, Norm and his wife Kathy Porter of Smiths Falls and Joyce and her husband Mel Conboy of Sharbot Lake. Her six grandchildren, her pride and joy, are left with fond memories of a precious Grandmother. Erin (Mat) Meyer of Kingston, Deanna, Laura, Robert Porter of Smiths Falls, Lindsay Conboy, Ottawa and Clayton Conboy, Sharbot Lake. Florence was the youngest of ten children born to Henry and Anne Hagan and she now rejoins that large family that meant so much to her. Brothers Harry, Sidney, Ernest, Leonard, Stephen, Percy, Alf, Clarence and her one sister and best friend Ada (Campbell/Raison). Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, onThursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of her life will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church, Smiths Falls, on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.
