I was heartbroken to hear of Carole's passing. I had the honour and the pleasure of working with Carole at the Lodge, for many years. We also worked together on the Union where we fought many battles in the name of workplace fairness and Carole's commitment to fair labour practices never ceased to amaze me. I will always have a special place in my heart for dear Carole. My condolences
are extended to all of Carole's family. May she forever rest in peace.

Emily Saunders & Scott Commodore posted a condolence
Growing up in "Carsville" was a great experience. The Peppers, Fowlie's and Saunders were always very close. There was many times as A kid I remember visiting the house and Carol was always welcoming. Just in the past 3 years since I moved back to town it was nice to reconnect with Carole. I fondly remember this past Halloween, when I was like a kid again and trick and treated with my dog Daisy at her door, I defiantly had her laughing! Scott my partner would always remember giving Phantom bones at the gas station. I know from my family to yours my heart goes out to you to lose Carole so soon, may she rest in peace.
Love Emily and Scott

May this candle burn half as bright as your presence in this life, and may those who see it feel comfort in your warmth and light the way we all did when you were here.
We love you Aunt Carole.
