Obituary of Carole June Pepper
Pepper, Carole June (nee Covey)
Carole passed away peacefully in hospital, Perth on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She left this life as she lived life; with grace and dignity and surrounded by a loving family. Carole was born March 1, 1942 in Brockville, Ontario, daughter of Neville and Caroline (Darling) Covey of Athens, Ontario. She married Owen Glen Pepper of Smiths Falls, March 11, 1959. Surviving children are daughter Susan (Brent) Eaton of Charleston Lake and sons Oune Jr. (Cyndy Massey) and Ace (Lorelei Proulx) both of Smiths Falls. She was predeceased by a daughter in law Louanne (Donahue) Pepper (Ace) in 2011, her daughter Joanne (Pepper) Frizell (Fred) in 2014 and her husband Owen Pepper in 2016. Cherished grandmother of Ryan Eaton (Susie McKay), Jeff Eaton, Chris Frizell, Kirsty Frizell (Nick Lowe), Sarah Pepper (Nick Steele), Ace Jr. Pepper (Brett Gallery), Tyler Proulx, Logan Coccimiglio, Chantale Ramage (Kevin), Tamara Emon (Kyle Johnston), Brandon Pepper (Julie Chaput), and great grandmother to Makayla, Annabelle, Emily, Gabriella, Sophia, Carter, Silas, Lindsay, and Marshall. Loved sister of Gary Covey (Joyce van Luiyk) of Airdrie, Alberta and Gail Somerville (Vic) of Calgary, Alberta. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Carole worked for many years at Lanark Lodge in Perth and is fondly remembered by many former co workers. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and crafting. Her biggest love in life was family and friends. She touched many lives and has left a legacy of "pay it forward”. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Carole’s life will take place on Saturday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In memory of Carole donations may be made to the Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation or YAK youth services in Perth.
