Blair, Murray J. Murray passed away following a lengthy illness with his family at his side on Friday July 27, 2018 at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Anna (Charleton) Blair and his beloved wife Nancy M. (Waite) Blair and Nancy's parents Peg and Roy Waite. Murray will be greatly missed and always remembered by his daughters Leanne (Glenn) Nisbet and Rosemary (Steve) Musclow, his grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Andrew and Robert Musclow and Kaitlin Nisbet and his siblings John (Debbie) Blair and Pat (Paul) Duffy and his special friend Susan Ng of the Philippine. He will be fondly remembered by Nancy's family including Denice Crampton, Ed (late Doreen) Danner, Ray Crampton, Ines (late Jim) Waite, Paula (late Paul) Waite, numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends. Murray was a loyal and dedicated staff member of the Perth Courier for over 30 years. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday July 31st, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment, St. Stephen's Cemetery, Brooke. Those wishing to honour Murray's life with a memorial donation are asked to consider St. Stephen's Church or the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund.
