Our deepest condolences to the entire family. Losing a Matriarch is devastating and the longer we have them, the more difficult it seems to lose them. Blessings to everyone and may you find comfort in the happy memories you savour. I remember your mom from the seventies where she frequented Dad's store. She was a hard working woman at that time. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet up with her again when we returned from the West, however, I do have fond memories of the earlier years. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have just learned today of Dorothy's passing. I wish that I could have delivered this message in person. Your Mom was a constant in our neighbourhood when we were growing up. I thanked her many times for being the friend that she was to our family, when times were challenging. A neighbour and friend that we could count on. She did her best to be a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her giggle was one I'll never forget and her kind words were always appreciated. Your family, like ours was blessed to have a Mom who did the best she could for the people she loved so much!
