Rathwell, Dorothy Mae July 21st, 1930 - November 19th, 2018 Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth, on Monday, November 19th, 2018 Dorothy Mae Rathwell at the age of 88 years. Beloved daughter of the late Austin and Bessie Conboy. Cherished wife of the late Robert Rathwell. Dearly loved mother to Donna (John) Brady, David (Megan) Rathwell, Judy (Bill) Brady and the late Ken Rathwell. Cherished grandmother of Amanda (Ian) Tyler, Jonathan Brady (Molly Grocock), Jacob (Crystal) Brady, Emily Brady (Lucas McVeigh), Melissa (Brock) VanAlstine, Patrick (Teyla) Brady, Stacey Rathwell (Ryan Hogan), Kelly Rathwell (Lucas Norwood), Scott Rathwell, Matthew Brady (Nicole Hasler) and Andrew Brady (Michelle Eves). Very special great-grandmother to eight great granddaughters and five great-grandsons. Sister to Marion (Desmond) Taylor, David (Donna) Conboy and sister-in-law to Gloria (Gerry) Furlong and Betty Andrews. Aunt to Mark (Tracey) Furlong, Linda (Harry) Hester, Wendy Fortin and Jeff Conboy. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her family and many close friends. Friends are welcome to pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in Asbury Free Methodist Church on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. Interment Elmwood Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark, Leeds, Grenville or Wheels of Hope Program (Perth Chapter of Canadian Cancer Society) would be appreciated.
