Debbie and I went to school together. And although I moved to Windsor for eight years, we reconnected when I came back to raise my family. Debbie always amazed me, she faced things in life that would have brought others to a standstill, yet she prevailed. She never complained, and kept putting one foot in front of the other. It was my pleasure to have known her. She will be remembered. My thoughts go to you her family at this time. Yours sincerely, Diane Dennie

We all stand more alone without you. I always loved sitting next to Debbie at family functions to hear her dry wit and giggly laugh.I also secretly hoped I would draw her name at Christmas purely for the challenge.Debbie was a major player in my childhood getting kicked out of the pool, consulted on decorating tips and pretending the new shade of white was noticble when she had the place repainted...again. Debbie was always there for me and was a great comfort when mom died. Her style and grace reminded me of her. Betrayed by her health, I hope she has comfort and peace now.
Special hugs to Teegan, Tick and Kate.
I wish I was there with you.

Since returning to Smiths Falls 27 years ago, I met your Mom several times in different capacities: nurse for my 2 year old stepson, acquaintance at a party or two, a daughter helping her father rent his cottage on Bass Lake. I am proud to say that even though our encounters were infrequent she has touched my life as she has so many others. She was very proud of all of you and loved you so much. She also knew where to draw her strength from and that was the four of you. Thank you for being such an important and loving part of her life. My prayers and thoughts are with you and I hope this poem helps in a way, when my Mom passed away I found some of the poems helpful and that is my wish for all of you, as this seems to say it so well…how important all of you were to your Mom and her memories will never leave you.
To Debbie's extended family my condolences. It was obvious at the funeral service today how much she has touched lives particularly all her nieces and nephews.
Your Mother, Your Angel
© Natasha Jordan
You look back on memories you forgot you had,
And at times you'll smile even though it hurts so bad.
Your mother is a special woman and no one can take her place,
You'll find a piece of mind when you remember he smiling face.
Your mother is an angel now she flies high above the rest,
and in your hearts always and forever she will be the best.
She has earned her wings and it's time for her to fly,
I know it hurts no one is ever ready to say good-bye.
She knows you do not understand and that you cry at night,
But as you finally drift off to sleep let her memory hold you tight.
She will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life,
Helping lead you on the path between what’s wrong and right.
your mother loves you so very much and her love will always remain true,
Please don't ever think for a second that your mother will forget you.
A mothers love is like no other in the whole world,
She has the most wonderful memories of her two boys and two girls
She has taken them with her as she's flown away,
Up to Heaven free of pain which is her new home to stay.
So although you can not see her and you wish she could be there,
Your mother can always hear you and your mother will always care.
A mother does not forget the four greatest loves of her life,
And she loved nothing more than being your mom.
She is so proud of her family and that's in her heart to stay,
Even though she's an angel and has had to fly away.
So as you cry your tears remember your mothers love,
Being sent to you from her, from the beautiful Heaven above.
She will be there through your good times, she will be there through your bad,
She'll be there when you are happy, she'll be there when your sad.
Your mother has become and angel now, it is her time to fly,
