John and Wayne What a lovely tribute to your Dad. John, I do have some great memories of your Dad. And one of those memories is about a red door. I tried to find your phone number John and couldn't find it anywhere. So I was thrilled when I found I could leave you a condolence message on line. I am sorry that I can't be there with you right now but you know that you have my love and support. After all of the years you have spent caring for the generation that proceeded us I worry that you must be feeling somewhat adrift with the loss of first Hazel and now your Dad. Please don't hesitate to call me if you need to talk. The one good thing I can still do is listen. And if I can help in any way, I am here. A good man ..... I spent many a weekend in NDG (Montreal),and enjoyed the comfort and hospitality Mr. Grant always provided. Sometimes a carload of us would show up at his door,always greeted with a huge smile and a "c'mon in , are you hungry". "Bern" would cook us a dinner for the ages..Yes, he was a great cook,too.... His Swiss steak was outstanding. He would open his house to us and always make you feel welcome. He forever was smiling and laughing the whole time. God Bless You Mr.Bernard Grant. I will never forget you...
