Jen, I am so sorry to learn of your father's sudden passing. Upon reading about him and reading the condolences here, I see how you are his daughter: strong, spirited and caring. I am thinking of you, Doug and your beautiful girls at this very difficult time. Love to all of you from all of us.

Jenni and family, sending my sincere condolences at this difficult time. When ever Doug and I would meet along the way, he always had a hello for me knowing I was one of Jenni's high school friends. I helped Doug load a large screen T.V. into his vehicle at the Costco in Kingston a while back and my wife said that he was such a nice man. Doug was a nice man and he will be missed by all who knew him. Take care of each other at this difficult time.

Bittersweet

Simon and I enjoyed the fruits of Connie and Doug's labour via our weekly CSA box for some time. He was always so pleasant with a story and a smile when he came to drop of our food boxes. We are so sorry to everyone for the loss of your love, father, family and friend.

A real funny guy and great father.

My condolences go out to the Lendrum and Jernigan Family. Doug was a funny man and great father.
I spent much of my adolescence at the Lendrum/Jernigan household and had many great laughs and good times with Doug. He always cooked the best lamb and made having to do the dishes afterwards all worthwhile... especially considering Seth would duck out to the bathroom for his usual half hour after dinner break.

May we all raise a toast of our finest craft brewed beers in memory of this great man. CHEERS!!!
