LENDRUM, R. Douglas September 21st, 1945 - June 22nd, 2014 Doug Lendrum passed away suddenly at his home on June 22, 2014. From the Hudson's Bay Company in the early 70s, Humdrum's restaurant in the 80s, Bittersweet Farms culminated a life's interest in food from the farm to the table. Doug was best friend and partner to Connie (Baumgartner) Lendrum, beloved father to Jenni (Doug Lawless), Seth (Lindsay Muciy) Jernigan, and Robert (Mystica Cooper). Cherished Papa "Misha" to Evelyn, Flora and Ella. He will be sadly missed by family Leslie Lendrum, Cuff (Angie) Lendrum, Tom (Carolyn Heide) Baumgartner, Sandra (Dan) Martin, Grace Moyer, Don (Judy) Baumgartner. He leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends with very fond memories. Doug was predeceased by parents F. Clyde Lendrum and Marion (Myers) Lendrum. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Thursday June 26th, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.. The service will be held Friday in the chapel at 10:30 A.M. In remembrance, contributions to "The Table" or the Lanark County Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated.
