Dearest Uncle Mike, Katie and Bob, Beth and Karim, Bob and Marianne and my beautiful cousins,
I sit here tonight sharing your profound sense of loss.
Aunt Ann had a special place in our family. Growing up, she was a caring and kind Aunt to all of us cousins, a gifted teacher, our resident medical advisor, and most of all when you are young, she was fun. There was a twinkle in her eyes. She had a smile for us, always. Except when a very young Brendan and I snuck into the spare room and called 911 so we could see firemen.
She was beautiful, inside and out. Always stylish. She laughed often. She had a brilliant sense of humour, perfectly delivered. She was just about the only one who could challenge dad and he still thought she walked on water.
It is hard to think that our next family gathering won’t include her in person, but I take comfort that she is with us always in other ways. In our memories, our thoughts and in the legacies she leaves behind, especially Katie and Beth, her beloved daughters, and her grandchildren Fiona, Alexander, John and Mary.
Love and miss you all,
Sas, Eamon, Jack and Ryan

In loving memory of Ann Quigley, Ann and Mike did so much for me in my youth that it if was not for them, I would not have the life I have today. Ann was such a generous and kind person. I am happy she is now at peace. She helped heal and teach so many she deserves that. She lived life to the fullest with no complaints. I bet she left this with no regrets. My heart breaks for Mike, Kate and Beth. See you soon when we can share memories and celebrate her life. Luv Sheila & Paul

To Mike, Katie and Beth and all of the Quigley family,
My sincerest condolences for your loss. Although I have spent many years practicing law with Beth and getting to know Justice Quigley quite well (and meeting Katie in a random airport), one could always tell that Ann was the beating heart of this family. Every time the occasion arose, I was greeted with warmth and a big smile. Never too far away, was Justice Quigley. You were all blessed to have someone like Ann amongst you.
While your loss is immense, know that her memory certainly lives on in the minds of all those who knew her.
With sadness, Joseph Obagi.

To Mike and family and extended family. I wish to express my condolences. I was one of the Nursing students from St. Lawrence College, graduating in 1978. Anne was my clinical instructor when I did my Consolidation at the Great War Memorial Hospital.
I last saw her at the St John Catholic High School reunion, a few years ago, we had a short chat and a photo was taken of the two of us. Teachers do have a lasting impression. I had no idea that she had been through so many health challenges. May she always be close in heart and never far from mind. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Dear Uncle Mike, Katie, Beth and Family -
We are heart broken for all of you. We wish we could have visited her before she passed away and also to be there to celebrate her life on Saturday. When I think of Aunt Ann some of the words that come to mind: ultimate warrior, bargain hunter, calm demeanor, witty as hell, beautiful blue eyes and flawless skin! Mom always said "Ann is like a sister to me". And then there's Duddley....I love, love, loved their banter back and forth. I would visit mom in Michigan and I'd say... "Cute watch, Mom". Her reply "Oh this? I got this with Annie at the Flea Market in Florida for 12 bucks!" I swear they could have opened up their own flea market booth with all the questionable "treasures" they spent hours upon hours shopping for and hauling back home. My favorite memory is when I was about 12 year old. I shared her love for shopping. We went to Smiths Falls to shoe shop. She bought me my first pair of Red Dr. Scholl's original sandals. I wish I would have kept them - just looked online - they go for $90.00 a pair!!! And you know what? I think I might just buy them as they were my favorite pair of shoes that summer! I'll miss you Aunt Ann but happy you are in pain no more. I'm so happy to have had you in my life.
Love to the Quigley's

I have such fond memories of my conversations with Ann. She was a dignified and supportive person, whether she was answering my questions about healthy eating, talking with me about my application to university, or just chatting about any subject. Ann truly was a classy lady! Even though I moved on to a new career awhile ago, I mourn her passing, and I smiled at the mention of her golf game and her Florida trips. I offer love and prayers to Mike, Katie, Beth, and their families. Rest in peace, dearest Ann. You will be missed. Angie McCaw

My dear Aunt Ann was one of the strongest , sweetest, most inspiring women I’ve known. My childhood summers and holidays were always centered around our family and we were so lucky to have so much time together over the years. She juggled a busy career, while still making family her first priority , like finding time to sew custom-made outfits for Katie and Beth. She always had an incredible sense of humor and a zest for life like I’ve never seen. She was so knowledgeable in her field and she was a bundle of energy, enjoyed skiing, swimming, golfing and of course a little shopping.
She especially amazed and inspired me when I watched her endure all of her medical challenges over the years and she did it with more grace than I could ever imagine having. On so many occasions I would ask her how she was doing and she never said a negative word but I could see the pain on her face. She had more strength and positivity than I could ever have. I admired her and I will miss her so much . Sending all my love to uncle Mike, Katie and Beth and all of my family. I love you all.

Dear Uncle Mike, Katie, Beth and family,
I cannot think of a more inspirational person than our beautiful Aunt Ann. Her fight for life was like no other. Her determination and positive outlook were traits to be admired. Aunt Ann’s quick wit and infectious laugh made every family gathering filled with joy. She has now joined so many of our loved ones that have passed I smile and have comfort thinking that she is probably egging on “Cluney” at this very moment.
Aunt Ann was always there for all of us. I think of the countless times I called her for each sniffle and fever when my boys were young. She provided a sense of calm no matter what and always managed to add humor to lighten any situation.
I will miss Aunt Ann more than words can say, but I promise to try to live my life with her fighting spirit. I will make her special Christmas pudding in her honor. It won’t be the same, but she taught me well. She taught us all so many important life lessons that are instilled in all of us as we go forward.
Deepest sympathy, love and prayers,
Pam Horn and family

To Mike and all the family, I was saddened to hear of Ann’s passing. What a wonderful tribute in her obituary. I knew Ann, as I worked for many years at the hospital in Smiths Falls, so our paths crossed many times. Ann was always so pleasant to work with and a consummate professional. It was clearly evident that she loved working with her students and I am certain she was a driving force in the success of so many nursing students over her many years of service in healthcare. She contributed a great deal to her profession and to the Town of Smiths Falls, but clearly she was most proud of her family. Sending sincere condolences at this time.

She truly was an excellent role model- always encouraging, never condescending; just Ann. I remember her as always looking like she could be going anywhere, not just wards, as hair, makeup and uniform were always perfect! I met Ann on the street many years after graduating, she called me by name( which amazed me) and we had a wonderful visit.
