Rick and family: Both Keith and I want to convey our most sincere condolences on the passing of Leanne. She was such a kind and generous person. She was always willing and ready to help us in any way she could. I will always remember the times she and I would have a glass of wine on the deck of your trailer. Her helpfulness and love of Irene was so obvious when Irene was so ill and still at the cottage. She always had a smile and was so welcoming at all times. Please know she is now out of pain and is in a far better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. RIP dear friend and neighbour. Keith and Audrey Featherston.

I am very sorry to hear the news of Leanne’s passing.
Leanne and I worked together at the Perley Hospital and we always had a great time laughing and carrying on. My fondest memories are of when Rick was travelling and I would go and spend nights with Leanne in the old farm house. We would eat Chinese food have a few drinks and just laugh. She was a great pal. We lost touch over the years but I often thought of her and her mother.

I was so shocked and sad to hear of Leanne’s passing. The good times we all had back here on Adam lake and her infectious laugh will be a memory I will always treasure. Leanne always lifted u up even if u were having a bad day. She was special and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all of u. Condolences to Janet and Alan

Rick & Family
I was saddened when Laurie wrote and told me about Leanne's passing. My sincere condolences.
Leanne & I first met back in the early 70's and she introduced me to Ottawa 67's hockey. We continued our friendship through high school and a few years after than we lost touch. Finally reconnected 7 years ago and was happy to finally talk to her.
She is reunited with her parents and brother.

I first met Leanne around 1980 at the Perley Hospital where we worked together and where her mom also worked. We instantly hit it off! What drew me to Leanne was how spirited and positive she was and never a bad word about anyone. Laugh and dance again my dear friend, RIP.

Dear Jamieson Family:
Leanne was a special person. She opened her heart to my son, Sam, and welcomed him into your family no questions asked. He always knew that she was there for him whether it was to listen, give advise or kick his ass when needed. She was his second mom and he loved her with all his heart.
