Cole, Richard “Rick”
On Friday April 9th, 2021, as the result of Covid complications, we lost a great husband, father, Grampy, brother, uncle and friend at the age of 72 years. Richard was son of the late Lewis and Irene Cole. Rick leaves, as he always said, the “Love of his Life for 51 years” his wife Karen (Robinson) and his children Jennifer Cole (Sean Binkley), Steve (Emma), Kathi-Ann (Dan) Logan and his nine grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Linda (Ted) Horton, brother-in-law Tom (Joy) Robinson, several nieces, nephews and cousins and many good friends. The arrangements are being held privately for the family. From a young age, Rick’s passion was baseball. To honour his life, those wishing are asked to make a memorial donation to the Perth & District Little League, 4 Ivey Place, Perth, Ontario K7H 3K3 (make cheque payable to Perth & District Little League or by E-transfer to harry.hale70@gmail.com (please provide your e-mail & home address). Karen and family extend special thanks to the caring and compassionate ICU nurses and doctors at the Perth Hospital, the Brockville General Hospital and social worker Emily who gave us the opportunity to chat with Rick daily.
