My deepest sympathy to Maggie's family. Although I haven't had the pleasure of a chat with Maggie in the last few years, I certainly remember her warm and friendly personality. I met her when I owned a cake decorating store and she would come in. We always had a wonderful visit. No matter when I would run into Maggie over the years, she was always the same. She was a true beautiful soul and will be missed by so many. May Maggie's family and friends be comforted by how many people she touched in such a positive way, just by being her loving and authentic self.

Janet and I send our thoughts and Prayers to Tom and Family. Maggie was one of a kind. She always had a smile and a hello. From the days of the Greater Franktown Community Association to enjoying the little things in life such as a conversation. May the memories help you through this difficult time.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to Tom, Chelsea, Meta, Karsten, Daniel, their partners and their children.
Maggie was not just a colleague, she had become a treasured friend, as had Tom and Chelsea.
My heart hurts for everyone as you go through this trying time. Maggie was a beautiful person inside and out; but, I don't have to tell anyone of you that. I loved her dearly and she knew it. Maggie was the kind of person that you could go months and years without seeing her and run into her and it was like you were never apart. Maggie was there for everyone, whether she knew you or not, she was there to help. This world has truly lost a wonderful person while heaven has gained an awesome angel.
I will miss you my wonderful friend, love you always and forever, Linda Sovey

Sincere condolences Tom and family. Once again, I am paying dearly for procrastination. It was my intention to visit Maggie. It takes a special person to foster children and she was certainly that for Daniel. When I spoke with her on the phone, her voice would change when she spoke of him. She was so happy to have him and loved him dearly. The result is in the young man we see today. Maggie has left this world far too young and I will repeat the line in Bob Seger's song "only the good die young". You will be greatly missed by all who knew you Maggie and now it is time to rest. RIP xo xo

Tom and Family, I send my heart filled condolences to all of you. To Maggie’s friends, like you we also lost one extremely great true honest friend, I met Maggie some 51 years ago. we met in elementary school and while we were in grade 7 Maggie was elected as president of the student council and I was the Vice President and allowed to work with Maggie and at that young age she demonstrate her organizational skills. Maggie wasn’t selfish, she was soft spoken and kind hearted, that we will all miss from her. After many years of suffering Maggie is finally at peace, without the pain and suffering, for that we can be thankful. My thoughts and prayers for everyone we will always miss.

I have so many memories of Maggie. Coffee, chats with muffins, many laughs, hugs and of course once Linda, Linda, Linda came out Maggie decided that was my name. lol
I was embraced as part of your family over the past years and grew to love each one of you. My visits with Maggie at home pre covid were even more cherished because her mobility was limited. A chat on zoom during covid on a good day was a blessing.
I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by so many friends but even more so by all of you. If Tom or any of you need anything please know we are here. Once restrictions lift those giant hugs that have been so much a part of our lives together will happen. I posted in the singular because Neil may want to share his own thoughts.
The kids have been speaking of her this week too and sharing on the limited yet loving and caring talks they had with her. It has been said here many times over the past days she was special. Indeed she was. I know her faith held her up and now her faith holds her for eternity. Love you.

Oh Maggie...what a journey we have had. Our friendship which grew daily, meant the world to me. Thank you for helping me to find new insight and understanding in my journey through life, and being part of that journey. I will miss our Monday Pizza Nights where we drank way more coffee than a person should and each time I eat one of those awful frozen pizzas we shared together I will think of you. Bye, for now. xoxox
My deepest deepest condolences to all of the family, may you find peace and strength in knowing that she is safe and loved and with God.
From one of the passages in the book Jesus Today that she loved - "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid'.
God Bless.

Maggie was such a free-spirited, effervescent, and loving person; quick-witted, imaginative, full of joy and whimsy. Being a reserved person myself, I was drawn to all that quirky energy, optimism, and exuberance. She made me laugh. She made me think. She made me see. I hope her family and many close friends can take comfort in knowing what a beautiful legacy she has left behind. -- Sue & Brent
