It is with very heavy hearts that we just learned that dear Freda had passed away on Sunday. We were so blessed to have met Freda, Don and the many residents of 40 Pearl St when our mom and dad moved into the building in January 2013. From the first day, Freda was there to greet them, introduce them to other residents, provide hints about where to get the best services in town and to personally take care of any problem, issue or question they had. When Mom began to fail in early 2016 and Dad in 2017, Freda ensured that we three kids had absolutely everything we needed, both physically and emotionally to provide the support they needed. She was always quick with a hug or a gentle and kind word to help you get through the tough days. We have never met such a wondrous combination of positive energy, superior work ethic, limitless generousity, undying kindness, quick wit and indomitable spirit. We extend our deepest condolences to Don, her family and her many, many friends who have all lost this incredible and well loved lady.
