Jack’s community service contributions were extensive and truly impressive, T-Ball, Minor Hockey, Settlers Days, Winter Carnival, Old Home Week, School Board Trustee, Town Councillor, Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, Royal Canadian Legion, St. Francis de Sales Church, Old Timers Hockey, Lob-Ball, and many other causes that Jack was involved in with his energy, intelligence, compassion, sense of humour and common sense. He set an important example for us all. We were truly blessed and honoured to have Jack as our friend throughout the years. His number one priority was always Evie and his family and you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Evelyn, Cathy, Wendy, Kelly, Jackie , Shannon & Families. Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of a very sweet , kindhearted man. I had the pleasure of having Jack as my boss at Performance Printing and he fought so hard for a raise for us. I also think of Jack every Christmas when my daughter was little Jack would tell us to bring her over and he would turn the Christmas lights on his huge tree outside. This took place for years. These are a few memories I will cherish. I still think of Jack every Christmas and always will.You are with Angels now .

Evie, Jackie, Shannon and families....There is a little less light without Jack in the world but he left us a legacy of humour, grace and positivity. I have many memories that make me chuckle.... some from our old house on Main St E, some from the time we served on Council together, and some just from just bumping into him at the grocery store or some Town event....every single time I was happy to see him. I think that’s how most people felt about Jack...he always left you just a little bit happier. I hope you gain a bit of comfort from the stories about him people share and and the respect people hold for Jack...he was one of a kind.

My condolences to Jack’s family and to the Traynor family. Jack and I grew up together on Drummond Street in Perth. I remember always being welcomed to the Traynor home and staying for dinner many times. I last talked with Jack at the funeral for his sister Margaret.
