That smile followed by a witty quip, heart chuckle and you were wrapped in Alan's loving care. As a cousin he has been very special to me. I will l miss our lunches where he did not refute his claim to eat anything. I associate raspberry pie for Marian and together as a couple they were beautiful souls loyal to God. No more canes Alan. to leave behind- hope, jump and skip to your liking in heaven!!!! I wil;l miss you tremendously and kudos to the kids keeping him in line!

What a great fellow, always kind and he loved his pie. Shall always remember him at the Balderson Church suppers. He was no stranger to pulling a joke or two. May God keep him safe in his arms until we meet at the pie table once again.
