Danuta Trejda (nee Nowakowska) passed away in Perth, Ontario on Friday May 27th, 2022 in her 88th year. Cherished wife of the late Zenon Trejda for 38 years. Beloved mother of Stefania Zakrzewski (Michal) and her predeceased son Wojciech Trejda (Grazyna). Proud Babcia of Slawomir Trejda (Magda), Peter Zakrzewski (Jessica), Zbigniew Trejda, Natalie Breithaupt (James) and Aleksandra Trejda-Strus. Prababcia of Nina Trejda, Bartlomiej Trejda, Maciej Strus, Isabella Breithaupt, Annika Breithaupt, Thomas Zakrzewski, and Hannah Zakrzewski. Loving sister of Ewa Krawczynska (Wojciech) and her predeceased brothers Tadeusz and Zygmunt. Devoted aunt to her nephews Jaroslaw (Gosia), Jacek (Ewelina), and Krzysztof as well as her nieces Elzbieta and Grazyna (Waldemar). Danuta was born in Minsk Mazowiecki, Poland and managed a grocery store in the city of Mrozy. She immigrated to Canada in 1989. Danuta was not only a grandmother to her own grandchildren, but also helped raise the children of many close friends in Toronto. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family in St. Johns Church, Perth.  The interment will take place in the Mrozy Cemetery in Poland alongside her husband and son. We miss her beyond words. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
