It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Waldemar Schilke at the age of 82. Waldemar, known as "Opa" to many, was a great man of faith in Christ, a dedicated family man, a brilliant engineer/business leader in the private sector, a forward thinking safety engineer for the province of Ontario, a world traveller, an athlete and world class handyman. He leaves his wife, Michele, of 56 years, 3 children (Dominique, Stephan and Daniel) and 19 grandchildren. Dementia challenged his mind over the last 3 years, but not his spirit. He will not be forgotten and we will see you soon in Heaven!!  A celebration of his life will be held at a  later date.  Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors.
