I went to school beginning Grade7 at Chimo School in Smiths Falls, Ontario! Oh the fun that was had in open classrooms, I can remember in grade 7 Robin and a few others on April Fools Day, spread the word around that when Mr Hirlbert started singing Ô Canada to just listen, well that was probably the funniest day at Chimo School! Mr Hurlbert tried again and same reaction! Finally he gave up and said my joke ends when all your parents have to pick you up after detention! Then came the part when anything the three teachers could use to write with was no longer in any of the three pods! We had gathered them up and put them in baskets and put them outside the emergency exits and man it was funny watching them wonder what happened to the chalk and markers for the overhead projectors I think Robin and Greg Cross orchestrated this and I think that is how the Smart board came to be! Thank you Robin for all the ways you made school classes fun!! RIP
