Dear Jeannie and Gloria - Wayne and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your families at this sad time. Your dad was a wonderful neighbour and friend to our family over the years and an invaluable help to Mom and Dad in their later years as they were getting the farm ready to sell. I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to have a chat with him in June at the final church service at St. Augustine's. Please pass our sympathies along to your mom. Jeanie and Gloria, I am sending my thoughts and strength to both of You and your family. I remember your father as many will as a kind, respected and valued member of the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church Family. Both your parents had a mentoring and valued role in my childhood which I am very thankful for. Jean,Gilles,Derek and Scott, We were very saddened to hear of Mr.Keays passing and yes Jeannie I hear your mom saying quite firmly now that's Stuart and Evelyn, smile smile Gosh I adore your parents. Your dad as I remember him so fondly, always smiling, always had a wave as we drove by, always at the ready to either plough us out as we went into work or helping a neighbor on those early icy mornings out of the ditch and all before 5 am! He kindly offered to restore my old Victrola back to perfect condition, your mom put a record on and he gently ask for my hand as we shared a song and dance on your front lawn , a wonderful memory i will cherish forever. Please accept our sincere condolences and know your dad will always have a special place within my heart . Much love and peace to you all during this difficult time, Mary-Ellen and Gary
