Faye, Kelly, Jason and families…condolences for your loss. I spent a number of hours working with Craig on the Carroll farm milking or haying or whatever needed to be done. Spent time at the hunt camp playing cards and getting Craig worked up, just in time to leave. Great memories!

Faye, Kelly ,Jason and families, We are very saddened to hear of Craig’s passing. I just read your tribute and agree whole heartedly that he would do anything for anybody and he was also a very competitive individual. I have many great memories of playing fastball and duck hunting behind the house on the Carleton Place highway when we were young. He was my favourite catcher for Franktown and we had many great successes together. I always got a kick out of how fired up he could get and that would even drive me to be a better player. You always knew how he felt if things were not going our way and he always had my back. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed knowing and playing with him over our young years. We hope all your memories help you thru this very sad time.

Thank you Larry. Your comment made us all smile. Dad sure did love his ball and yes, he tended to get a little worked up at times. lol I love how we are both being tactful when describing his “passion” for competition. she taught me how to play ball. The only time my Dad wasn’t soft with me is when it came to baseball. He fired the balls at me and Mom would say “Craig, don’t throw then so hard” and Dad would say “if she catches it, it won’t hurt her.” lol Needless to say, I caught them.
